The Adventures of Timothy Callahan Pt. 3

in

Timothy Callahan Via CBR...

... I spent some time speaking with the shockingly good Jason Aaron. Our topic of discussion? Movies, of course. ...

I recommended my new favorite, "Zero Hour!" which I'd already tried to sell to Matt Fraction on Wednesday evening. It's a genius piece of filmmaking from 1957...

... he said, "yeah. You look like a Vertigo writer anyway," which is pretty true. If Azzarello, Wood, Aaron, and Morrison had a baby, it would look just like me. And it would be the coolest, most badass baby in the land, wouldn't it? It would probably rule the post-apocalyptic landscape with only it's glorious baldness and surly attitude.

More From Ba and Moon

in

Newsarama.com reports from the Vertigo Panel:

A new series called Day Tripper by Fabio Moon and Gabrielle Ba was announced. The two are probably best know for their work on Umbrella Academy. "They never quite tell me who draws what and who writes what," Berger said as she introduced the two Brazilian creators.

Moon said the series is about "a guy who wants to be a writer and how the things you do in your life every day, there's stuff that can determine what you're going to do the rest of your life." The series is set in Brazil, so the "background is going to be very different," he added.

"It's got a real nice magical realist aspect to it," Berger said. The series will be out next spring.
